Visions of an Urban Life

Here are some "lowku" I wrote a few months ago to share with my writing group. I forgot I wrote them until I found them yesterday. I guess could say they'be been festering in a notebook waiting to be shared!

Graffiti scrawled walls
Territories marked like dogs
Pissing on a lawn.

Shattered, splintered glass
Shimmers in the sunlight
Carelessly littered walks.

And the smogs rolls in
Industry's coughing disease
Thick, gray, choking phlegm.

Supple skin plenty to show
Painted dolls' faces attract
No love but sex

Deep, hollow eyes
Walk between cars begging silently
With outstretched hands.
