Apparently she ran the household with just her eyes. Perhaps I inherited my "eye." Thanks, grandma! It's come in very handy!HappyChyckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00586840416488114845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14947623.post-34880230286450722502010-10-10T20:39:32.000-07:002010-10-10T20:39:32.000-07:00HA! It's my favorite tool and I sometimes accidentally use it on my husband (who lovingly, but very firmly reminds me that he is not in fact a naughty student and 'the eye' will never work on him, even if he deserves it for screaming bloody murder during the Yankee's game for example).Ms. M's Applesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14947623.post-3357521322494459892010-09-20T19:07:52.000-07:002010-09-20T19:07:52.000-07:00The eye still works in high school, although my ey...The eye still works in high school, although my eye conveys this message... "Seriously? I thought you were in high school not middle school..." That usually will do it. It used to be that eating-out was a luxury, especially for our family growing up. Eating-out has become more common than eating-in in most homes now and unfortunately the latch-key generation has grown up and are neglecting to teach their children that they are not owed anything---especially service in a restaurant for acting out.your bronoreply@blogger.com
